I am paid directly by you, my client. Period. I don’t sell products. And I don’t receive compensation from any other sources.

No. One of the benefits of working with a fee-only financial planner is that you can get quality financial advice regardless of how much money you have to invest.

Please see my services page for pricing.

This is an introductory meeting to discuss what you’re looking for, how my process works, and explore whether my services will be a good fit for your needs. Initial consultations are free and confidential.

Absolutely. KDFP is a location-independent firm. I work with clients in many parts of the US.

No. While it’s important to incorporate legal agreements into your financial plan, prenuptial agreements aren’t the right choice for everyone. I work with couples and individuals in many different situations. Reach out if you have any questions about whether or not I can help you.

One-time plans can be completed in 1-2 months. The speed depends primarily on how quickly you provide the requested info and what your availability is to meet for planning sessions.

The prenup prep service takes 2-4 weeks after the final financial planning session. The speed depends primarily on whether you’d like attorney search help or not.

If you are getting married, I recommend starting the process 6 months before your wedding. This gives us plenty of time to focus first on your finances. This is especially helpful for couples who are not certain yet whether they want a prenup or not. Doing a money plan first usually makes that decision much easier!

If you have less than 6 months before your wedding, we can work on the financial plan and prenup prep concurrently. Just keep in mind that completing this program in 1-2 months will feel fast as you approach your wedding day and have plenty of other work on your plate!

If you are a client and you and your partner decide to split, I’m still here for you but my dedication to communicate with both of you will remain as long as you’re married. In the event this creates a conflict of interest, I can help each of you find a planner who will be able to advocate for your best interests during the divorce process.
If you are not yet a client and are going through a divorce, I may not be the best fit for your needs but I am happy to have a conversation to see if my services are right for you.

You do. I do not sell your personal information or use vendors who do.
